Singer Emma Bunton is petrified she may never be able to have children after being diagnosed with a womb condition.

The former SPICE GIRL was devastated when doctors told her that she has endometriosis, which could make it almost impossible for her to conceive.

The 28-year-old says, "I admit I was terrified because I didn't know what it was. I just knew it was something that might affect me having babies."

Bunton has since been told, after numerous check-ups, that the condition has improved slightly.

A friend adds, "Emma was told it might be very difficult for her to conceive, but not impossible. She was very upset at the time but feels more positive after learning about the condition."

British singer Louise Redknapp was also diagnosed with the condition but, after two operations, she gave birth to a baby boy, CHARLIE, in July (04).
