Eminem's younger brother NATE MATHERS has launched a scathing attack on the press for portraying the rapper as a "cruel villain".

Nate, 18, claims his famous half-brother has a "wicked sense of humour" which often lands him in trouble, because he enjoys making fun of people from Christina Aguilera to moral outrage groups in America.

He argues, "He's not who people think he is - he's a nice guy. He has a wicked sense of humour and that's where all the trouble starts.

"He's not a hater. He's not a cruel villain. He doesn't hate anyone or any group. He makes fun of everyone.

"He was no different before he was famous. He was always getting into trouble for shooting off his mouth in the wrong place."
