Late rock legend Elvis Presley topped the British singles chart for the third time in January (05) yesterday (30JAN05).

The King of rock 'n' roll knocked American R+B sensation Ciara off the top spot with a re-issue of IT'S NOW OR NEVER - notching up a record-breaking 21st British number one for the late singer.

Ashanti entered the chart at number two with ONLY U, Harris's GOODIES dropped to number three, while tsunami charity song GRIEF NEVER GROWS OLD took fourth spot.

Dance duo Chemical Brothers topped the British album chart with their fifth studio album PUSH THE BUTTON while their single GALVANISE dropped to number five.
