SIR Elton John will celebrate one of his last nights as a single man at an $18,000 (GBP10,000) party with a cabaret show starring all his celebrity pals, including George Michael, Sting and Lenny Kravitz.

Show designer Patrick Cox has arranged the bash at London nightclub Too2Much on Monday (19DEC05) - two days before John marries longterm partner David Furnish.

Guests will be served champagne and canapes by waiters in cowboy outfits and treated to an hour-long show opened by rocker Bryan Adams, followed by the Pet Shop Boys, and SIR Ian McKellen in drag as his pantomime character WIDOW TWANKEE.

Other acts include DJs THE CUBAN BROTHERS, Royal Ballet star IVAN PUTROV and WILL + GRACE star Eric Mccormack, who will deliver a speech.

The event will be compered by British comedian Paul O'Grady.
