A host of gay icons flocked to SIR Elton John and David Furnish's pre-wedding bash at London's Too2Much club last night (19DEC05).

SCISSOR SISTERS singer Jake Shears, PET SHOP BOYS' NEIL TENNANT, Sir Ian McKellan and Eric Mccormack all attended the star-studded bash.

McCormack, who plays WILL TRUMAN in hit US TV series WILL + Grace, studied at the same Toronto, Canada, school as movie producer Furnish, and wowed the pair with a special reading and song.

Recently reformed boyband Take That also performed, re-teaming with sixties icon Lulu for a rendition of their 1993 hit RELIGHT MY FIRE.

John and Furnish will form a civil union on Wednesday (21DEC05), taking advantage of new British laws which afford gay couples the same legal rights enjoyed within heterosexual marriages.
