Elizabeth Hurley's ex-lover Steve Bing has made a killing on the Los Angeles property market by selling off a group of high-profile Bel Air properties for a whopping $75 million (GBP41.6 million).

Movie producer and real estate tycoon Bing, who is the father of Hurley's son DAMIAN, has spent the last five years acquiring the properties, including the home of Hollywood icon Red Buttons.

Bing has now sold them off at a huge profit, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The new owners at Heritage Development plan to turn the area, opposite Los Angeles' famous Bel Air Hotel, into a gated community.
