The BORN IN THE USA songwriter was playing the first song of an open air concert in Sydney, Australia.
He sang the first line of Edwin Starr's pro-peace song WAR, then the lights went down and the 40,000 crowd were left in silence.
When power was restored he said, "I've had dreams that I would be standing in front of thousands of people and suddenly everything would stop. I have even told my psychiatrist about it.
