Dylan Walsh, the 47-year-old American actor and star of the acclaimed drama series 'Nip/Tuck', has filed for divorce from his wife of six years Joanna Going, reports the UK's Daily Mail. Walsh was previously married to the 'Big Love' actress Melora Walters but the pair split in 2003.
According to court documents, Walsh cited 'irreconcilable differences' as the reason for wanting to end the marriage, and he is seeking joint custody of the couple's 7-year-old daughter Stella. Walsh also has two children from his marriage to Walters. The actor rose to fame playing the role of plastic surgeon 'Sean MCNamara' on the Golden Globe winning 'Nip/Tuck', and he recently starred opposite Diane Lane in the Disney movie 'Secretariat'.
The split is the latest in a recent flurry of celebrity break ups. Earlier this week it was reported that Scarlett Johansson and her husband Ryan Reynolds are to divorce, as are 'Dexter' star MICHAEL C. HALL and his wife Jennifer Carpenter. Zac Efron is also said to have split from his girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens.
