Karl Lagerfeld couldn't be more pleased with his latest creation, Drew Barrymore 's wedding gown. The 78-year-old Chanel designer came up with a stunning pleated organza dress with ruffled collar - describing his creation as "perfect" for the pregnant bride, reports the Associated Press.
Speaking at the opening of a Chanel exhibition curated by former French Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld, Lagerfeld said of Barrymore, "I love her. She's great". The Hollywood actress married her husband Will Kopelman at her Montecito home in California on Saturday (June 2, 2012), in front of guests Cameron Diaz (rumored to have been the bridesmaid) Busy Phillips and Jimmy Fallon. Lagerfeld said he has known Kopelman, the son of former Chanel Ceo Arie Kopelman, since he was a child. Of the big day, Barrymore told People magazine, "The bride wore a traditional veil and carried a bouquet of flowers featuring cherry blossoms, pink peonies, pink garden roses and pink spray roses".
The marriage is Drew's third, after she was wed to Welsh bar owner Jeremy Thomas in 1994, and then comedian Tom Green in July 2011.
