Movie beauty Drew Barrymore has found that "hat and sunglasses" suffice when attempting to go unnoticed.

While other celebrities surround themselves with burly bodyguards and large entourages - and then complain when they get recognised - Barrymore, 29, has found the key to leading a "normal" life.

The Charlie's Angels actress says, "I don't even know I'm doing it anymore, but the other day, I realised I spend most of my life contorting my face to look different.

"I find if I don't make eye contact and I walk around so people don't notice me, I can really just live a normal life."
