Folk star Donovan Leitch stunned a teenage busker on Monday (01Jul13) by joining him on the street for an impromptu jam session.
The singer joined Murdo Mitchell, 15, for a duet after spotting the youngster performing his 1965 hit Colours on a street in Glasgow, Scotland.
The Scottish musician luckily had his famous green guitar with him, having just finished a radio interview nearby, and the pair performed Colours together as well as Sunshine Superman to a thrilled crowd.
Mitchell tells British newspaper the Daily Record, "It felt incredible and totally surreal that I was playing my guitar and singing with an idol of mine... He said he recognised the song and I was like, 'That's you isn't' it?' and I asked him if he would play a song with me...
"It was totally amazing as he has played with some of the biggest music stars in the world including The Beatles and Bob Dylan. He is the most successful Scottish pop star ever and it was a dream come true to busk songs with him."
