In what was likely to produce record pay-per-view results worldwide, the WWE's Battle of the Billionaires, featuring Donald Trump-backed wrestler Bobby Lashley against WWE Chairman Vince McMahon's Umaga, the Samoan Bulldozer, drew 80,103 fans to Ford Field in Detroit. The crowd, along with the pay-per-view audience, stuck around after the match as Trump and Lashley, the winner, shaved McMahon bald, as part of a previously agreed-upon stipulation. "The support of our fans in Detroit and around the world made WrestleMania 23 a tremendous success," WWE marketing exec Kurt Schneider said in a statement. The event sold $5.38 million in tickets at the stadium and millions more in pay-per-view receipts.
