Rapper YG reportedly forfeited his $60,000 (£49,000) pay cheque for a college concert on Friday (03Mar17) after violating his contract terms by performing his anti-Donald Trump track.
The hip-hop star, real name Keenon Jackson, had been booked for a set at San Diego State University's GreenFest gig in California, but organisers allegedly banned YG from playing his controversial song F**k Donald Trump and wrote it into the terms of their business agreement.
However, the rapper ignored the condition and performed the tune anyway, much to the delight of his fans, who shared photos and footage of the show on social media.
According to reports, the performance cost YG his fee for the concert, but the MC doesn't appear to regret the decision, as he took to Instagram over the weekend (04-05Mar17) to share a photo of the crowd all lit up as fans held up their cell phones and camera flashes.
"Unconditional love," he captioned the image.
