U.S. President Donald Trump has announced he will be skipping the typically star-studded White House Correspondents' Dinner in April (17). He tweeted his decision on Saturday (25Feb17), after a number of journalists revealed they would be boycotting the annual event in light of the negative comments he has made about the press in recent weeks. The Republican will become the first president to snub the dinner since Ronald Reagan in 1981, who missed the bash as he was recovering from an assassination attempt.
