Dita Von Teese has bemoaned the lack of glamour in everyday life and says unlike a lot of people, she takes great care in how she dresses.
Dita Von Teese says glamour is not ''just about fashion or wanting to look good''.
The burlesque beauty - who features in the video for George Michael's latest single 'Feeling Good' - is dismayed by the fact glamour is being lost in everyday life and insists she always makes sure she looks great when she steps out.
The 41-year-old star told HELLO! magazine: ''Personally, I like to dress with care not just because it makes me feel good about myself, but because I think it's important to set an example of decent manners by dressing properly for occasions.
''I enjoy dressing up and glamour doesn't have to be expensive. I first started wearing vintage clothes because I couldn't afford new ones. That's where my love of retro style comes from.''
Dita - who was once married to goth rock star Marilyn Manson - also revealed she maintains her enviable figure by attending regular Pilates classes in Los Angeles and she says the physical fitness system helps improve her overall mood as well as her figure.
She said: ''I feel better about myself when I feel strong and I have more energy when I exercise.''
