Elizabeth Banks will play Tinkerbell in Disney's forthcoming 'Tink' movie.
The 'Zack and Miri Make A Porno' actress has signed up to star in 'Tink', a live action romantic comedy from Disney.
No director is attached to the project but McG - director of 'Charlie's Angels' - Adam Shankman ('Hairspray'), Jennifer Gibgot ('The Last Song') will produce and Elizabeth Wright Shapiro will write the screenplay, Variety reports.
Elizabeth Banks' other roles include 'Role Models' and 'The Uninvited'.
More recently she has been spending time as a recurring guest on comedy TV show '30 Rock' as Avery Jessup, the love interest of Alec Baldwin's character Jack Donaghy.
She is also one of the new faces of L'Oreal Paris along with 'Slumdog Millionaire' star Frieda Pinto and 'Lost' actress Evangeline Lilly.
The actresses were chosen because the company "have been won over by their rising careers as actresses, together with their attachment to the values of humanity and Diversity".
'Tink' does not currently have a planned release date.
