Animated film Bolt has debuted at the top of the UK and Ireland box office chart after its opening weekend on release.
The Disney film, which features the voices of John Travolta and Miley Cyrus, took £2.8 million in its first three days to knock last week's chart-topper The Curious Case of Benjamin Button from the number one spot.
Travolta voices the title character, who plays a super-powered character in a TV show, but struggles with the realities of being a normal dog when he is separated from his owner.
Bafta winner Slumdog Millionaire rose one place to number two while romantic comedy He's Just Not That Into You fell one spot after its second week on release.
There were four other major releases at the UK and Ireland box office but only family comedy Hotel For Dogs was able to dent the top five while Vicky Cristina Barcelona climbed two places from 11th to re-enter the top ten.
The top ten films at the UK box office are: (last week's box office)
