Argentine soccer hero Diego Maradona is set for a different kind of success after starring in TV talent show CELEBRITY COME DANCING.

The former footballer, 44, is sporting a slimmer frame and healthier lifestyle after years of battling drug addiction and obesity, and recently launched a TV chat show in his native Argentina.

Maradona and his professional dancing partner ANGELA PACINO, 24, are favourites to win the Italian TV show, a spin-off of British BBC program Strictly Come Dancing.

Strictly Come Dancing, which pairs celebrities with professional dancers, has inspired a string of international versions, including Dancing With The Stars in the US and Australia.
