Orange Is The New Black star Diane Guerrero is set to pen a memoir about her parent's deportation to Colombia when she was just 14 years old.

The actress, who was born in New Jersey, recently opened up about her childhood and how she was left devastated when her mum, dad and brother were sent back to Colombia.

Now, the 28 year old is set to expand on an essay she wrote for the Los Angeles Times and delve further into the ordeal in a memoir titled In the Country We Love.

The book is set to hit stores in 2016.
