Diana Ross is set to give her first television performance in four years later this week.
DIANA ROSS, the American singer and SUPREMES legend, is set to perform on 'The OPRAH WINFREY Show' this Friday (25th February 2011) according to Access Hollywood.Ross, whose career spans more than five decades, will be performing her hit song 'I'm Coming Out' on the show. The track, which became a huge hit in 1980, is traditionally performed first at Ross' performances and concerts. The song took on a new wave of popularity in 2003 when the American R&B singer Amerie covered it for the Jennifer Lopez film 'Maid in Manhattan'. 66-year-old Ross will also sit down for an interview with the queen of daytime television and will be joined by her children and grandson. She is currently performing on her 'Now' tour, which concludes in Staten Island, New York, on 20th March 2011. It is rumoured that Ross will be continuing the tour in Europe and Asia in the near future.
This past weekend, DIANA ROSS made a surprise appearance in Indianapolis to help the city celebrate the opening of its new downtown Marriott Hotel. The Motown star performed a number of her iconic songs including 'I'm Coming Out', 'Baby Love' and 'Stop! In The Name of Love'.
