The British police investigation into the 1997 death of DIANA, Princess Of Wales will reportedly find her driver HENRI PAUL was not entirely to blame for the fatal car accident, despite being three times over the French drink-driving limit. According to British newspaper the Daily Express, former police chief LORD STEVENS will conclude that French paparazzi photographers chasing Diana's car were also partly responsible for the Paris, France tragedy, which also killed her lover Dodi Fayed and Paul. The report, due out on Thursday (14DEC06), is expected to accept Paul was drunk, had taken tranquilliser drugs and was driving at "excessive speed" when he lost control of the Mercedes car. Stevens' findings differ to the official French investigation, which claimed paparazzi on motorbikes bore little responsibility for the accident. It is thought he will conclude that the princess, Fayed and Paul died in a road accident.
