Sexy pop trio Destiny's Child will reunite for a one-off gig in Kingston, Jamaica, later this month (JUL03) - much earlier than fans had expected.

The BOOTYLICIOUS babes will headline the last night of the capital's annual REGGAE SUNFEST on 26 July (03) - because organisers traditionally like to finish the festival with a group that appeals to both young and old.

JOHNNY GOURZONG, the festival's director, says, "We've always gone for people like Destiny's Child and Boyz II Men because they have a broader appeal to both the older and younger folks unlike the hip-hop acts that the older folks may not like."

Other acts on the bill include Bounty Killer, Elephant Man, Sean Paul, Third World, Wayne Wonder and Beenie Man.

The gig will mark the first time Destiny's Child will perform together since Beyonce Knowles became a superstar solo artist.

Knowles recently said the group wouldn't reform until next summer (04).
