Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria has announced she is to marry her long-term boyfriend TONY PARKER.
The NBA basketball star reportedly proposed to her after travelling to her home in Los Angeles where she is currently filming, after his evening match with the San Antonio Spurs.
Reports claim the two are to wed in Tony's native France next summer and they hope to have a "big, happy ceremony with lots of family and friends".
Eva, 31 and Tony, 24, met in 2004 but only confirmed they were together a year later. Eva recently told People magazine she expected to stay with the young sportsman "forever".
Eva's rep told the magazine that the proposal on Wednesday was "romantic and perfect" and that the couple are now "officially engaged" and have "never been happier".
The marriage will be the second for the DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES star, who was previously wed to actor TYLER CHRISTOPHER, but it will be the first for Tony.
