Former Anti-apartheid Leader Archbishop Desmond Tutu And His Wife Leah Are Suing Their Granddaughter For Property Damage.
Ziyanda Palesa Tutu announced plans to surrender to police on Friday (15May15) after her grandparents confirmed they had filed a criminal complaint against her.
Details are hazy, but Cape Town police officials in South Africa have confirmed they are investigating a case of "malicious damage to property".
Wine expert Ziyanda, 30, is Tutu's first grandchild - the daughter of the Archbishop's son, Trevor.
She told The Star newspaper on Thursday (14May15) she was still "trying to sort things out before I go to the police", adding, "For years there has been animosity against me and now my grandparents have blown this matter out of proportion. This whole thing could have been avoided and kept out of the public."
