Police in California have reportedly named former basketball star Dennis Rodman a "person of interest" in a hit-and-run investigation.
Officers from the California Highway Patrol were called to the scene of a collision in Santa Ana early on Wednesday (20Jul16), when they came across a smashed BMW on the I-5 Freeway.
According to TMZ.com, a witness told authorities a second car was involved, and Rodman was in the vehicle, but the car was not at the scene of the accident.
Cops have since reached out to the retired sportsman's camp as they continue to investigate the incident, and sources tell the publication they have listed him as a person of interest.
No arrests had been made and no charges had been filed as WENN went to press.
His representatives have declined to comment on the report, amid claims Rodman had been spotted singing karaoke at a bar before the crash.
