Demi Moore is still to change her Twitter handle (MrsKutcher), despite announcing she is to divorce husband Ashton Kutcher after six years of marriage. The pair are prolific 'tweeters', with Moore having over 4 million followers and Kutcher, a huge 8 million.
However, as of Friday morning (18 November, 2011), the Hollywood actress was still using her MrsKutcher account despite the process of changing a username being fairly routine. In a statement on Thursday, Demi announced the end of her marriage which has been rocked by an infidelity scandal in recent weeks, saying, "As a woman, a mother and a wife, there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life". The actress often used the popular micro-blogging website to broadcast the couple's relationship, posting photos of herself with Kutcher and using the 140 character limit to quip about their love for each other. However, after the Two and a Half Men star was accused of cheating on the actress with a 22-year-old San Diego girl, Moore's tweets took on a more cryptic tone. She famously posted a picture of herself lying on the bed with her eyes closed, adding the caption, "I see through you", while Ashton used Twitter to deny the swirling rumors, linking to his Spotify profile on which he was playing the Public Enemy song 'Don't Believe the Hype'.
The couple have reportedly been living apart for months, and a removal van spotted outside their shared home sparked rumors of a split last month. Now attention turns to the couple's divorce proceedings, with the small matter of a $290 million fortune to discuss.
