Troubled actress Demi Moore returned to the spotlight on Tuesday (17Apr12) by making her first public appearance since her recent stint in rehab.
The Indecent Proposal star has endured a tough few months following her split from husband Ashton Kutcher in November (11) and has been keeping a low profile since her hospitalisation in January (12) and subsequent stint in a clinic to treat exhaustion.
However, Moore returned to Twitter this week (beg16Apr12) after a prolonged absence and she stepped back into the public eye by attending the Tuesday night red carpet launch of her friend Amanda de Cadenet's new TV show.
The actress supported her pal at the party in Los Angeles for new series The Conversation, which she executive produces, and posed for pictures on the red carpet.
De Cadenet also revealed how pleased she was to have her friend onboard, telling E! Online, "Demi is one of my best girlfriends and a great sounding board for me. She's got 10 years on me, and so she is more ahead of me in the game of being a woman.
"She is an amazing resource for me, and so she has a vast life experience that I love to experience and to hear...
"It was amazing to go to work with someone that I am so close to. It's really cool to be able to do that. She is really enjoying going behind the camera, she's a really good director... She's not someone that's like, 'Oh I can't make that phone call.' If she's on she's on, she's in. She doesn't do things half-a**ed. It was great to have her involved."
Moore's health troubles began with a medical emergency at her Los Angeles home in January (12), when she reportedly suffered convulsions, and she later spent a month at the Cirque Lodge Centre in Utah. Her publicist claimed the actress was battling exhaustion and checked into the clinic in a bid to "improve her overall health".
