Demi Moore was a notable absentee as her daughter, 17 year-old Tallulah, was inducted into high society at Le Bal des Debutantes at Paris' Hotel Crillon over the weekend. The 49 year-old only recently split from a troublesome marriage with 'Two And A Half Men' actor Ashton Kutcher and has been keeping a low profile since.
Tallulah is the youngest of the children Moore had with Bruce Willis, and the actor was on hand to provide parenting duties at an event that saw 23 daughters of various actors, entrepreneurs and aristocrats officially invited into high society. Willis had previously seen another daughter, Scout, attend the ball three years ago and, according to a source, was a little more reserved than he had been on that occasion. "He was a little different than three years ago, more reserved," they told People magazine, "He was there for his daughter, but protective. It wasn't until around midnight when he danced with Tallulah that you saw him become more relaxed. He's a dad and he wanted to be certain she felt the evening was for her."
Tallulah was looking beautiful in a sleeveless black and silver sequined gown designed by Lanvin. Mother Moore would have no doubt been proud, though the actress unfortunately has more pressing matters to deal with following her soon-to-be-ex-husband's alleged wedding anniversary romp with 22 year-old Sara Leal.
