Demi Moore has sensationally announced she is to end her 6-year marriage to Ashton Kutcher, ending weeks of speculation concerning the Two and a Half Men star's alleged infidelity in a San Diego hotel room.
The couple have kept a fairly low-profile in recent weeks, leading many to assume they were looking to rebuild their relationship, but 49-year-old Demi confirmed the split to US Weekly magazine, saying, "It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton. As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life". Ashton, who famously linked to the song 'Don't Believe the Hype' whilst the cheating rumours were swirling, took to Twitter to comment on the split, saying, "Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail. Love and light, AK". The actor was accused of having a one-night stand with Sara Leal, 22, during the small hours of September 24, 2011 - the date of his wedding anniversary with Moore. Leal claimed the Hollywood star had told her he had already separated from the actress and afterwards Demi fuelled rumors by tweeting a picture of herself with the cryptic caption, "I see through you".
The Margin Call actress has three children with the actor Bruce Willis, Rumer, Scout and Tallulah Belle - the couple divorced in 2000 after a 13 year marriage.
