Demi Lovato, the American singer and actress who recently announced that she will not returning to the hit series 'Sonny With a Chance', has thanked fans of the show for their support during her recent personal troubles, reports MTV News. Demi Lovato recently completed a stint in rehab for "emotional and physical issues".
After announcing that she would not be returning to the Disney series, Lovato took to her Twitter page to thanks fans for their supporting through her highly-publicised rehabilitation, saying, "Thank you all so much for your support with the decisions I've decided to make with my career. I love you guys. Sonny was a chapter in my life I will be forever grateful for. Thank you all for watching". After unexpectedly leaving a tour with the Jonas Brothers last year, it was revealed that Lovato has struggled with a history of eating disorders and self-harming. The Disney show will now be redeveloped as a new comedy sketch program named 'So, Random' featuring Tiffany Thornton. The actress personally tweeted Lovato to praise her efforts in rehabilitation, saying, "I couldn't be more proud of the woman you've become these past 6 months".
Although Demi Lovato is yet to reveal whether her long-term future lies in music or television, she is said to be working on a new album with music mogul TIMBALAND.
