A chalet used as David Tennant's onscreen home in the new series of murder-mystery drama Broadchurch is up for sale.

The blue two-bedroom chalet in Dorset, England, features in the show as the home of Tennant's character Detective Inspector Alec Hardy, and it went on the market for $440,000 (£275,000) on Monday (12Jan15).

The current owner, Abbey Evans, is hoping the success of the show will give the property a major price boost, but jokes of the sale, "I just hope the horrible murder won't put people off."
