Cult filmmaker David Lynch is selling coffee to fund the promotional campaign for his new movie INLAND EMPIRE. The Twin Peaks director has developed the David Lynch Signature Cup and is selling tubes of espresso, decaf and house roast with accessories on his website The coffee will also be available at cinemas showing his new film, which stars Laura Dern as a forgotten actress attempting a comeback. Profits from sales will go towards covering costs on a planned 2007 American promotional tour as the director travels from city to city personally selling the film, which has not been able to find a US distributor, to cinema bosses. He says, "(It'll be) just like Loretta Lynn in COAL MINER'S DAUGHTER - 'Throw the records in the car, we're hitting the road.'"
