LATEST: Actor/singer David Hasselhoff is getting serious about plans to stage a one-man show in Las Vegas, he has hired one of Sin City's top players to find him a venue. Businessman MICHAEL POLITZ confirms the Baywatch creator has personally called on his services to help him "explore the possibilities" of fronting his own variety show once his stint as a gay director in the Las Vegas production of The Producers is over. Politz says, "I am very excited to start the process for The Hoff." The businessman recently teamed Hasselhoff and former Van Halen star Sammy Hagar for a party at the Palms hotel (05MAR07). The odd couple have since spoken about teaming up again in the studio to record a version of the Beastie Boys party anthem FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHT TO PARTY - the song they performed at the Palms. Last week (ends09MAR07), Hasselhoff revealed his Las Vegas plans, stating, "I originally thought to do it (show), tongue-in-cheek about my life - a tour of my life through song, (but) now I'm leaning toward doing the hottest heterosexual show you've ever seen.
