Singer David Gray is excited about the critical reaction to his latest album LIFE IN SLOW MOTION, because it is representative of the huge studio sound he has always dreamed of creating.
The BABYLON star recorded his breakthrough album White Ladder in his living room, but his subsequent success has allowed him to splash out on an impressive converted church-turned-studio in north London - and the difference in his work is staggering.
He explains, "This album is the complete opposite of White Ladder.
"White Ladder was a completely homemade record, low-fi, bedroom.
"This is rich, big, made here (in the studio), with space and the things we had at our disposal - time, money and possibilities."
