A man accused of harassing David Geffen has been ordered to stay 200 yards (183 metres) away from the music mogul for the next 10 years after pleading no contest to a stalking charge.

Former U.S. football player Jamie Kuntz, 21, was arrested in October (14) and later pleaded not guilty to one felony stalking charge and five misdemeanour counts of violating a restraining order by showing up at the billionaire's two homes in California.

He pleaded no contest to one count of misdemeanour stalking in a Los Angeles court on Monday (09Feb15) and was ordered to stay at least 200 yards away from Geffen for 10 years.

According to Tmz.com, Kuntz must also attend psychological counselling sessions twice a week for 12 months and will remain on probation for two years.
