Illusionist David Blaine has been placed under a 24-hour medical watch as he enters the last two weeks of his ABOVE THE BELOW stunt.
The magician has so far spent a month in a Perspex box hanging above London's RIVER THAMES in his bid to survive 44 days without food or human contact.
But medical experts are concerned the enforced isolation has potential to end disastrously, so have began the round-the-clock watch today (06OCT03).
PAUL KENNY, who is monitoring Blaine, says, "You could have anything from diabetes to kidney or liver problems, you just don't know."
Kenny says his team has already spotted "a slowdown in his responses, aches and pains in his muscles."06/10/2003 17:41
