British soccer ace David Beckham is planning to become a household name in the US next month (FEB07) when a TV interview with the star is screened during the Superbowl final - to an audience of 80 million Americans.
Beckham and his wife VICTORIA will soon be moving to Los Angeles after he signed a five year contract, beginning in June (07), with LA Galaxy worth $250 million (GBP128 million).
Leading chat show hosts Oprah Winfrey and Jay Leno are reported to have lost out in the race to clinch Beckham's first major TV interview since announcing his new career move.
Instead, the current Real Madrid player will speak to US network CBS, who are covering the American football finale on 4 February (07).
