Bosses at kids' toy giant Lego have offered David Beckham the chance to dream up ideas for new products after his unofficial endorsement of the colourful blocks led to a massive sales boost.
In an international web-chat with fans earlier this month (Jul10), the sportsman revealed he built a Lego model of the Taj Majal in his spare time while playing soccer in Italy last year (09).
Lego sales soared by a staggering 663 per cent following Beckham's admission and bosses at the brand are eager for the star and his three sons to help them come up with some new creative ideas.
The family has been invited to Lego headquarters in Billund, Denmark for a tour and a consultation with the toy-makers.
A spokesperson for the company says, "David and the boys are big fans and we are always open to new ideas from people passionate about Lego. We hope they take us up on our invitation."
