The former housekeepers accused of stealing personal items belonging to VICTORIA and David Beckham will not be charged following a police investigation of the alleged theft.
June and Eric Emmett, former housekeepers at the Beckhams' mansion in Hertfordshire, England - dubbed Beckingham Palace by the British media - were taken into police custody on 13 October (08).
The arrest reportedly followed claims some of the couple's possessions, including soccer memorabilia and dresses, were spotted on an internet auction site.
Another man, believed to be their son, was later quizzed by officers as part of the investigation.
The Emmetts initially slammed the allegations, branding the charges against them "totally fabricated, 99 per cent of it is totally untrue".
Hertfordshire Police said on Wednesday (17Dec08) that, after consulting with prosecutors, no charges will be filed against the trio, adding the "injured party" was aware of the status of the case.
A spokesman for the Beckhams has not yet returned a call for comment.
