David Beckham and best pal Gordon Ramsay fled a camp site in California during a recent wilderness trip after hearing gunfire ring out in the middle of the night.
The celebrities took time out to treat their kids to an outdoor adventure, but their excitement turned to horror when they realised they weren't alone in the woods - they had gun-toting neighbours.
Ramsay tells BBC Radio One, "We were camping next to this lake, turned up and there was no one on the campsite.
"We woke up about 4.30 in the morning to gunfire and there was this tent about half a mile away... with these Mexicans shooting."
The TV chef reveals the party checked into a nearby hotel for the remainder of their trip and told their scared kids the gunfire was really a storm approaching.
