Brand new comedy series Bad Teacher is set to premiere on CBS tonight, adapting the 2011 Cameron Diaz movie for the small screen with Fringe's Ari Graynor in the driving seat as the titular inept educator. Graynor stars as Meredith Graynor, a sassy blonde trophy wife who finds herself divorced and broke due to the pre-nup.

'Bad Teacher' Lead Ari Graynor Is A Different Kettle Of Fish To Cameron Diaz.

Embellishing her C.V. with fairly ludicrous claims, Meredith takes a teaching job at a local middle school in order to meet rich, divorced dads. She quickly wins over the emotionally needy principal (David Alan Grier), simultaneously befriends and takes advantage of nerdy teacher (Sara Gilbert) and clashes with the staff queen bee and fellow teacher Ginny (Kristin Davis).

However, she still has major reservations about it given that her father is a formidable federal judge. Bewitched Review

Bad
Heed my advice before seeing Bewitched: It may fly like a witch and twitch like a witch, but it's certainly not the beloved Bewitched.

While its trailers make you believe the small screen gem has been reincarnated from its TV Land graveyard, those expecting a proper big screen revival will be sorely disappointed. In fact, the sisters Ephron have carefully crafted a film that tries and succeeds at not resembling the original. Too bad the parts they took out are all the best bits. The finished product is new and different, but it's too predictable and remarkably devoid of anything entertaining or enduring.

Return To Me Review

Very Good

Taken out of context, the plot of "Return To Me" sounds like a really cheesy gimmick for a movie romance.

David Duchovny plays a man whose beautiful, adoring wife (Joley Richardson) dies in a car crash. Minnie Driver is a heart patient who gets the dead woman's ticker in a transplant. After a respectable amount of time has passed for the purposes of good taste, they meet by chance and fall in love.

Your eyes are rolling, right? But surprise, surprise -- the whole magical-innards angle is merely a jumping off point for a sincere and very funny love story that is easily the best romantic dramedy since "Jerry Maguire."

Stuart Little Review

Weak

Fans of "Stuart Little," the classic E. B. White's children's book about a congenial little mouse with a wind-up red roadster, would be wise to avoid "Stuart Little," the mostly in-name-only big screen adaptation featuring Michael J. Fox's voice emanating from a computer-animated Stuart.

Nearly everything delightful about the book is erased or painted over here with near-plotless kiddie fare, predictably zany adventures and deliberately ham-fisted acting from a wildly talented cast (Geena Davis, Hugh Laurie, Jeffrey Jones, Allyce Beasley, Estelle Getty, Julia Sweeney), entirely wasted on a Saturday morning cartoon script.

Ironically co-written by M. Night Shyamalan (the writer-director of "The Sixth Sense"), the story opens with Mr. and Mrs. Little on their way to an orphanage to pick out a kid for no explored reason. Won over by the home's least likely resident -- a talking mouse named Stuart with a miniature wardrobe and a pithy personality -- they take him home, where his new brother George (Jonathan Lipnicki from "Jerry Maguire") gives him the cold shoulder and the family cat (voiced obnoxiously by Nathan Lane) tries to eat him.
