Dave Grohl has praised Damon Albarn for completing an entire album on an iPad, because the rocker is sure he would have struggled to use the technology himself.
British singer Albarn created the last Gorillaz record, The Fall, on the handheld gadget, despite admitting to being a "technophobe".
Foo Fighters frontman Grohl shunned modern technology for his band's latest album, Wasting Light, recording the entire album on tape in his garage - and he is impressed by Albarn's ability to embrace new trends.
He tells Britain's Daily Star, "I think that’s totally cool. I don’t know if I could just pick up an iPad and make an album.”
