British rapper Dappy has been arrested and charged with assault following an incident outside a nightclub in Essex, England on Thursday morning (27Feb14).
The former N-Dubz star, real name Costadinos Contostavlos, allegedly became involved in a bust-up after performing at Chicago's Nightclub in Chelmsford.
A spokesperson for Essex Police tells the Mirror.co.uk, "Costadinos Contostavlos... has been charged with an assault by beating following an incident outside a nightclub... in Chelmsford in the early hours of February 27.
"He has been released on bail prior to his appearance at Chelmsford Magistrates' Court on March 19."
Dappy has yet to comment on the accusations, but appeared to be in good spirits after his gig, taking to Twitter.com to write, "Had a great night in Chicagos (sic). Crowd was amazing".
