British rapper Dappy has been spotted volunteering at his local thrift store.

The former N-Dubz star has been taking in donations and stocking shelves at an Oxfam charity shop in Hertfordshire, England, as part of his court-ordered community service.

A source tells Britain's The Sun, "A few people have been shocked to see Dappy in the shop. He's been getting on with it thought and helping Oxfam out as he serves his time."

A representative for Oxfam tweets, "(We're) very happy to have anyone volunteering with us, including Dappy."

The hip-hop star was sentenced to 150 hours of community service in February (13) after he was convicted of assault following a brawl at a gas station.
