The Football Factory star, 39, was attending the annual music event in Chelmsford, Essex with his daughter Dani as part of his stag do celebrations ahead of his marriage to fiancee Joanne Mas.

However his weekend turned ugly after the hardman actor was reportedly caught up in an altercation with friends of U.K. reality TV star Mark Wright while in a backstage area after Justin Bieber's set on Saturday (20Aug16).

Joanne, who has been in a relationship with Danny since 1992 and has three children with him, alleged that former The Only Way Is Essex star Mark goaded his friends into confronting her husband-to-be, with the incident occurring in front of their eldest.

"Mark called him a **** and was egging on his bunch of idiot friends all day," she tells British newspaper The Sun. "There were five guys against one and Danny still went for them, but the most f**king disgusting thing is it was all in front of my 20-year-old daughter."

On Monday (22Aug16) Dani took to Twitter to reveal her side of the incident, writing, "The only comment I'm even gonna say is my dad is the strongest person I know he isn't a fighter just because he plays good acting roles does not mean he is that in real life. (sic)

"I admit I was shouting that mark wright is a ****. Because his silly mates thought it was okay to barge past my dad knowing he was drunk, my heart is broken as I witnessed the whole thing."

The two have long had a toxic rivalry, which erupted last week when Danny joked on Twitter that his "worst nightmare" would be listening to Britain's Heart FM radio station, where Mark works as a DJ, and eating Oykos yogurt, a brand the reality star advertises.

Mark's soccer player brother Josh then replied to the post by revealing his sibling had given Danny a "slap" when the pair played in a charity soccer match together.

Pictures of Danny at the festival posted on Twitter show the star apparently sporting a black eye.

An onlooker explained to The Sun that in his view Mark had acted as a peacemaker, saying,"One of Danny's friends were trying to pull them off him. Dani was watching it all sobbing. Other people nearby were all pushed aside as security barged through, it was intense and people looked frightened.

"One of Danny's female friends ended up being punched in the fallout of it all. When Mark came back he watched for a bit and then stepped in to try and sort it out. They spoke about their fallout and both shook hands."

Mark has denied that he was involved in the brawl, writing on Twitter, "Seen some stories online today about V Festival. I would like to confirm that I personally wasn't involved in any physical confrontation."
