The 41-year-old star - who has three-year-old Ethan with ex-boyfriend Kris Smith - is a judge on the Sky Living HD reality competition, alongside models Elle Macpherson and Tyson Beckford, and was excited to get dressed in some glamorous clothes for the role.
Quizzed on whether she had to raise her game in the style stakes for the show, said: ''Of course! I had to sit next to Elle Macpherson and Tyson Beckford on the panel. But I've loved getting out of my 'mummy' clothes and back into heels and frocks.''
Dannii thinks she has grown into her style and is ''ever evolving'' and improving with age.
She explained to Now magazine: ''I really think beauty comes with quiet confidence. It's something that's ever evolving. That's not to say I'm confident every day, but I do feel with age I have a calmer perspective and appreciation of myself. I know every imperfection and flaw is what makes me unique.''
