Hundreds packed into the screening of the hotly-anticipated Swiss Army Man, but editors at Variety report the movie, about a lost man who befriends a corpse on a desert island, divided the audience and many left the theatre.

In the independent film, directed by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, Dano's character finds a corpse washed ashore and the movie features long discussions about masturbation, isolation and the meaning of life, as well as a kiss between the actors.

The Harry Potter star plays the role of the corpse, who maintains an erection and passes gas throughout the film.

"The chance to play a dead guy in this context was too much fun to pass up," Radcliffe said in a question-and-answer session during the film festival in Utah.
