British singer Daniel Bedingfield is relying on the support of friends to get through his depression - as he battles Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD).
The GOTTA GET THRU THIS star has been advised by doctors to take a break in a warmer climate after hitting rock bottom with the winter illness.
Bedingfield, who has taken the medical advice and is holidaying in his native New Zealand, says, "I cried all night the other day. One of my friends was there and held me and comforted me.
"I suffer from winter depression. I lack certain substances in my body so I get depressed easier when there is little or no light.
"I will be spending Christmas in New Zealand with lots of sun, which will help."23/12/2004 13:51
