British singer Daniel Bedingfield has teamed up with children's charity Stop The Traffic to fight against child sex slavery.

The I CAN'T READ YOU hitmaker, whose parents are both social workers, grew up feeling passionate about issues such as child abuse, and is happy to use his wealth and influence to help the cause.

He says, "I've been getting very involved in charity work at the moment.

"One of my main charities is Stop The Traffic, fighting against child sex slavery. It is so important to help these children who are being victimised."

Bedingfield has also taken time out of his demanding schedule to get involved with his mother's own child protection organisation, Global Angels.

He says, "It's very hands on. Because my mother is involved, I know the charity is accountable.

"I have done a lot so far and have been to places like South America to see what is happening."
