Actor/model William Levy defied doctors to take part in Dancing With The Stars on Monday (16Apr12) after injuring his ankle during rehearsals.
Levy sought medical help on Sunday (15Apr12) after he hurt himself practising with partner Cheryl Burke and had an Mri scan just hours before he was due on set for the U.S. show.
Doctors advised him to rest his injury - but Levy insisted on dancing the Argentine tango and scored an impressive 29 out of 30 points.
Speaking about his ankle to co-host Brooke Burke, he revealed, "(The doctor) said my ligament was ripped up... 'You need to rest.' But, I said to him that tonight was no resting."
Levy tied for the top spot with Welsh opera star Katherine Jenkins and one celebrity will be booted off the show on Tuesday night (17Apr12).
